The TekMiL approach to language instruction is quite simple: "Practice where you play". This means that we recognize the value of practicing the fundamentals of language not just as they apply to the classroom, but as they apply to the real world.

Group Instruction

If TekMiL could be said to offer a standard language training course, this would be it. However, we take pride in the fact that none of our clients receive a one-size-fits-all, standard training experience from us. Even our beginners' level courses are tailored to support your company's individual language needs. TekMiL's group classes normally consist of weekly meetings of 5 to 8 participants with similar levels of target language proficiency. The group's training focus is virtually limitless and is flexible enough to address even last minute needs such as meeting preparation, presentations, corporate hosting, etc.

One to One Lessons

Whether selected as a supplement to group instruction or as a stand alone solution, the One to One lesson is truly On Demand Training. The student enjoys the luxury of near absolute control over what is studied and when; the trainer can tailor 100% of her/his preparation and class time to meet your individual needs. The One to One lesson is an ideal solution for your management level learners who are not able to commit to weekly group meetings.

Seminars

As with all TekMiL services, our guiding principles for seminars are quality and adaptability; your needs shape our seminars, never the other way around. You also determine the schedule and intensity of your seminars: would you prefer an intensive full day of training, or are weekly focus sessions what you need? Any scheduling need can be met by TekMiL.Our most popular topics include business meetings, presentations, negotiations, and cross cultural customer service. It is important to understand that "product range" is really only limited by your requirements.

Testing and Group Composition

Our goal is to set you up for success. The foundations for your employees' success in any TekMiL course are laid well in advance of the students entering the classroom. We offer every new learner a level assessment test, and then work with you to create groups optimized by level and language needs. Depending on your requirements and employee availability, level tests can be conducted in person, via telephone, or through email. Our testers possess native level fluency in both Finnish and the target language, as well as extensive corporate testing and training experience.
